The Eduard F-106A mask 1:72 is a die-cut self-adhesive masking set for accurate spraying of the glazing and of other details of a model of the Convair F-106A Delta Dart fighter.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a die-cut self-adhesive masking set from Eduard in 1:72 scale, not a model of the aircraft. The masks are die-cut from a good yellow masking film and they follow the shape of the cockpit frames and of the other glazed areas of the F-106A exactly. They help create sharp, clean transitions without the slow business of cutting tape.
The Convair F-106A Delta Dart was an American supersonic interceptor with a delta wing, which from the 1960s formed the backbone of the air defense of the United States. It was designed for high speed and for a quick move to the target.
Degrease the glazing first. Lift the masks carefully with tweezers and press them down into the corners of the frames, so that the paint does not run under the edge. Spray the interior color of the frame first, then the final covering shade; take the mask off while the paint is still fresh.
The masking set is supplied on its own. The model of the aircraft, the paints and the glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
