An injection-molded plastic kit of the single-seat General Dynamics F-16 fighter in an early Fighting Falcon block, in 1:72 scale. The kit captures the machine in the eye-catching Spitfire Falcon finish of the Belgian Air Force. The package holds plastic parts, a clear canopy part, decals and color building instructions. The model suits less experienced modelers too, if they want a colorful piece for the display case.
The F-16 Fighting Falcon is an American single-engine multirole fighter with its characteristic bubble canopy and ventral air intake. The early A versions were lightweight day fighters flown by a number of allied air forces, the Belgian among them. The machine became famous for excellent agility and for widespread service around the world.
Finish and paint the cockpit and the landing gear bays before closing the fuselage. Use thin cement for plastic on the thin parts, sand the joins and treat the surface with a primer. For a striking color scheme an airbrush and a good lacquer gloss coat under the decals pay off.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
