A resin ejection seat with molded safety belts from Quickboost for the American F-16A/C Fighting Falcon fighter in 1:72 scale. It is not an airplane model, but a precise replacement part for more experienced modelers that replaces the simplified plastic seat from the kit with a casting with a faithful texture and finely rendered straps. Under the large bubble canopy of the F-16 the seat is superbly visible, so a faithful part lifts the impression of the cockpit decisively.
The F-16 is a single-seat light multirole fighter with a markedly reclined ejection seat and a roomy cockpit under a one-piece canopy. The plastic seat tends to be molded flat and without belts. The resin replacement with rendered straps looks realistic even without photo-etched accessories. The part is meant to refine an existing F-16 model in the same scale.
Wash the resin part in lukewarm soapy water to remove the mold release residue from the mold. Cut the casting block off with a sharp knife or a fine saw and clean up the surface; protect your airways when sanding resin. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue. Paint the seat and bring out the belts in a different shade; the fine stitching shows up after light toning.
It is supplied as an unpainted resin accessory for completing a model. Glue, paints and the model itself are not included in the package.
