An injection-molded plastic kit of the modern American fighter Lockheed Martin F-35A Lightning II in 1:72 scale from the manufacturer Academy. The model is molded in several colors and offers a detailed cockpit and weapon bays.
The F-35A Lightning II is a single-seat multirole fighter of the fifth generation with the emphasis on a reduced radar signature. The A version is the land-based variant with conventional takeoff and landing, intended above all for air forces. It carries its weapons in internal bays so as to keep its low observability.
Glue the plastic parts with a thin model cement. For modern gray camouflage a base coat and painting with an airbrush work well; the soft transitions and the panels come out nicely once the network of panel lines has been picked out.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
