Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the American twin-engine observation and reconnaissance aircraft in 1:48 scale from Roden. The box contains plastic parts, clear plastic for the extensively glazed cockpit and decals for several marking options. The characteristic silhouette with the triple vertical tail makes the model an eye-catching piece in a collection.
The OV-1 Mohawk was an American twin-engine turboprop observation and reconnaissance aircraft of the United States Army, designed for battlefield observation and low-level reconnaissance. Its recognition features are the roomy glazed cockpit with excellent visibility and the triple tail. The OV-1C version was equipped for infrared reconnaissance. The Mohawks were used above all during the Vietnam War.
Use liquid cement for plastic and work in subassemblies. Finish and paint the cockpit with its pair of seats before you close it, because the large glazing leaves it well in view. Masking film helps with clean glazing. Apply a primer before painting and spray the paints with an airbrush; leave the external stores and the sensors until the end.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
