Resin ejection seats with belts for the F-4 Phantom II in 1:72 scale from Quickboost — a precise detail accessory; it is not an aircraft model.
Responsibility details are not available.
Resin ejection seats with molded safety belts from Quickboost for the American F-4 Phantom II fighter in 1:72 scale. It is not an airplane model, but a precise replacement part for more experienced modelers that replaces the simplified plastic seats from the kit with castings with a faithful texture and finely rendered straps. The seats are very much in view under an open canopy and a faithful part lifts the impression of the cockpit decisively.
The F-4 Phantom II was a two-seat twin-engine multirole fighter that served with the air forces and navies of many countries. Its tandem cockpit holds two ejection seats, which in plastic tend to be molded flat and without belts. The resin replacement with rendered straps looks realistic even without photo-etch. The part is meant to refine an existing Phantom model in the same scale.
Wash the resin parts in lukewarm soapy water to remove the mold release residue from the mold. Cut the casting blocks off with a sharp knife or a fine saw and clean up the surfaces; protect your airways when sanding resin. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue. Paint the seats and bring out the belts in a different shade; the fine stitching shows up after light toning.
It is supplied as an unpainted resin accessory for completing a model. Glue, paints and the model itself are not included in the package.
