A set of boarding ladders for models of the two-seat F-5B and F-5F aircraft in 1:72 scale. An accessory for a finished kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
The F-5B and the F-5F are the two-seat configurations of the American F-5 light supersonic aircraft. The second seat behind the pilot called for a lengthening of the forward fuselage and a longer canopy, so both machines differ from the single-seat versions at first glance. They served for training and for combat tasks and spread to a number of countries, so a wide range of color schemes can be chosen for them.
Boarding ladders for models of the F-5B and the F-5F in 1:72 scale. Without a ladder the pilot cannot get into the cockpit, so on a model they belong to machines captured on the apron, to scenes with ground crew and to dioramas. A ladder hooked in place also opens the cockpit naturally, because the model can then be built with the canopy slid back without it looking accidental. How many parts the set carries and how they go together is given in the manufacturer's instructions.
The parts are not polystyrene, so cement for plastic kits has no effect on them; make the joints with super glue. Cut the excess material off with a sharp blade a little way from the part and carefully sand the rest away, so that the thin rungs do not break. Before painting, wash and degrease the parts and go over them with a base coat, otherwise the paint will rub off the smooth surface during handling alone.
The aircraft model, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
