Eduard F-84G masks 1:72 is a cut self-adhesive masking set for a model of the American F-84 Thunderjet jet fighter. It gives sharp color transitions on the glazing, the wheels and the camouflage. It is not a model but a masking aid.
Responsibility details are not available.
This cut self-adhesive Eduard masking set in 1:72 scale is intended for a plastic model of the American Republic F-84 Thunderjet fighter-bomber in the G version. It is not a kit or a model in its own right but a set of precisely shaped masks in thin yellow masking tape (kabuki). The masks will be appreciated by modelers who want sharp color transitions on the glazing, the wheels and the camouflage fields with no lengthy hand-cutting of tape.
The Republic F-84 Thunderjet is an American single-engine jet fighter-bomber with a straight wing from the turn of the 1940s and 1950s. The G version was the most mature series of the straight-wing Thunderjet; it received a more powerful engine, an autopilot, an in-flight refueling system and a framed canopy. The aircraft distinguished itself as an attack aircraft in the Korean War and served with a number of allied air forces.
Degrease the glazing of the framed canopy and let it dry. Lift the masks off the backing and place them on the frame of the windscreen and of the sliding section, pressing them into the edges. Spray the paint with an airbrush in thin coats. The wheel masks separate the tire from the hub. Once the paint has dried, peel them off carefully at a sharp angle so that the fresh coat is not damaged.
The package holds only the masks. The model, paints, glue and decals are not included, unless stated otherwise.
