The kit captures the American F/A-18C Hornet carrier-borne multirole aircraft. It is an unassembled model in injection-molded plastic with engraved panel lines, clear cockpit parts and a decal sheet. The model is meant to be glued and painted.
The F/A-18 Hornet is a single-seat twin-engined carrier aircraft able to carry out fighter as well as attack duties. The single-seat C version brought improved avionics and a wider choice of carried armament. The machine served with the US Navy and the Marine Corps and was designed for operation from aircraft carriers.
Glue the fuselage halves and the intake ducts with thin cement for plastic and sand the joints carefully. Paint the cockpit before closing it up. Apply a primer before painting and spray the low-visibility shades with an airbrush. Assemble and paint the underwing armament and the tanks separately.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
