The F/A-18E Super Hornet is a single-seat carrier multi-role fighter and attack aircraft of the US Navy. It is based on the smaller F/A-18 Hornet but is markedly larger and more modern: it has more powerful engines (the F414), greater range and more hardpoints for weapons. It serves as the backbone of the US Navy's carrier squadrons and carries out fighter, strike and reconnaissance duties alike.
Join the plastic with thin modeling cement; some joints may be designed as snap fits, but it is still worth cementing them for strength. Finish the cockpit before you close the fuselage, mask the glazing and spray over a primer. Fit the underwing stores and the tanks on the wing pylons last, according to the markings you have chosen.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
