SBS Model 1:72 Farman F.190 - canopy and window mask with a window frame ensures a clean, crisp painted finish to the glazing of this French aircraft in 1:72 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of die-cut masking stencils from the Hungarian maker SBS Model for masking the canopy and window glazing of the Farman F.190 accurately in 1:72 scale; a window frame part completes the set. The masks save the slow job of cutting shapes from tape and guarantee the straight, crisp frame edges that decide the final impression of the glazing.
The Farman F.190 was a French single-engine high-wing monoplane of the late 1920s, used as a light transport, liaison and air ambulance machine. The roomy glazed cabin, which is exactly why masking really pays off on the model, was one of its recognition features; the aircraft served with airlines and private operators, and a number of machines also went into colonial and ambulance service, which offers the modeler a varied palette of finishes.
Degrease the clear part and free it of dust before masking. Move the mask with tweezers, seat it from the center and press the edges down with a toothpick so that paint cannot creep under them. Apply the interior shade of the frames first, then the outer camouflage; peel the masks off at a sharp angle once the paint has dried. Any remains of the adhesive layer can be lifted off carefully with a piece of clean masking tape.
This is an accessory set - the aircraft model is not included in the package.
