Academy 1:72 Fi 156 Storch / Morane Saulnier MS 500/502 is a plastic kit of the legendary German liaison aircraft and its French license-built version.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit in 1:72 scale from Academy. The package lets you build either the German Fieseler Fi 156 Storch or its French license-built version, the Morane-Saulnier MS 500/502; the two differ among other things in the type of engine.
The Fieseler Fi 156 Storch was a German liaison, observation and courier aircraft of the Second World War. It became famous for its exceptional STOL qualities, taking off and landing in an extremely short distance thanks to its flaps and the slats on the leading edge of the wing. After the war it was built under license in France as the Morane-Saulnier MS 500/502 Criquet, typically with a radial engine, whereas the German Storch had an air-cooled inverted V8.
Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic, sand the joints down and treat the surface with a primer. Mask the cockpit and the extensive canopy glazing carefully before painting. An airbrush is recommended for an even coat, and fine details and insignia can be finished with a brush. Decide before you start which version, German or French, you want to build, because they differ in the engine.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
