This injection-molded plastic kit in a limited edition from AML captures the Italian Fiat G.50 bis fighter aircraft in 1:72 scale. The Limited Edition boxing offers a decal sheet with a choice of period schemes. It is a short-run kit with finely engraved surfaces and a glazed cockpit.
The Fiat G.50 Freccia was among the first Italian all-metal fighters with retractable landing gear and an enclosed cockpit. The G.50 bis version brought improved aerodynamics, a better view and an increased fuel supply. The aircraft, powered by a radial engine, served with the Regia Aeronautica and with allied Axis states on a number of fronts.
With a short-run kit we recommend dry-fitting the parts and cleaning off the flash. Paint the cockpit before closing up the fuselage. A primer, the main coat with an airbrush and a gloss coat under the decals all work well. Fine panel lines and discreet weathering will underline the character of this small model.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
