A limited kit of the Italian Fiat G.50 fighter in Finnish winter form on ski landing gear, in 1:72 scale from the Czech brand AML. The set combines injection molded plastic with resin parts, among them the skis, and an injection molded transparent canopy. A rich decal sheet covers Finnish machines, so the model can capture fighters operating in winter conditions.
The Fiat G.50 Freccia was an Italian all-metal fighter of the end of the 1930s. The Finnish Air Force committed these machines in the Winter War and the Continuation War, where they proved themselves even in harsh northern conditions. For operating from snow-covered surfaces, some aircraft received ski landing gear instead of wheels.
It is a limited set with resin parts, recommended to more experienced modelers. Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks and glue with super glue. Sand with protection of the airways. For the Finnish winter scheme, use a primer, an airbrush and fine washes.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
