Radiator cowling masks for the Fokker D.VII in 1:72 scale - spray masks from the manufacturer Peewit for all versions of the famous German fighter. Intended for the Eduard kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of spray masks for painting the radiator cowling of a Fokker D.VII model in 1:72 scale precisely, from the manufacturer Peewit. The set covers all versions of the aircraft and is designed for the Eduard kit; please check the compatibility with your own kit before buying. It is not a standalone model but an accessory that makes painting easier.
The radiator cowling on the nose of the model is the first thing a viewer notices, and a line drawn by hand does not come off every time here. Spray masks give sharp, repeatable edges: just lay the mask on, spray over it and peel it off gently once it has dried, with no risk of the paint bleeding underneath and with no laborious cutting of masking tape to shape. In the small 1:72 scale it is the fastest route to a clean result.
The Fokker D.VII was a German fighter of the closing stage of the First World War, considered by many the best fighter of its era. It stood out for its obedient behavior even at great altitudes, and it earned so much respect that it was named explicitly in the terms of the armistice. The individual production batches differed in the treatment of the front end and the radiator cowling as well, and that is why a set covering all versions at once comes in handy.
This is an accessory for a model; the airplane kit itself is not included in the package.
