This is not a helicopter model but a detailed conversion accessory in modeling resin. The set lets you build the tail boom with the rotor in the folded position, as the helicopter is stowed on ships' decks and in hangars. It is intended for models of the CH-53E Super Stallion and the MH-53E in 1:72 scale.
The CH-53E Super Stallion is a heavy transport helicopter with three engines and a seven-blade main rotor; the naval MH-53E version serves for mine clearing. The folding tail boom and the folding rotor save room on decks, and showing them gives a diorama or a display case an authentic shipboard atmosphere.
Wash the parts free of mold release agent, cut them from the casting blocks and fit the boom joint carefully. Glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate) and sand with respiratory protection. Before gluing, dry-check the folding angle so that it sits correctly against the fuselage.
It is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
