An injection-molded plastic kit of the three-ton Ford truck in its German form. The modern tooling offers a finely engraved cab, engine hood and cargo bed, and it builds as a classic plastic model to be glued together and painted.
Three-ton Fords were among the widespread trucks the Wehrmacht used to move troops, supplies and materiel. This branch came out of European production and rounds out the range of German wheeled vehicles of the Second World War. The vehicle is a rewarding subject for a diorama and for a display build on its own.
Assemble the chassis, the axles and the engine bay first, and only then the cab and the body. Glue the plastic with thin modeling cement and sand the seams. An airbrush and a brush both suit the painting; final washes and dry pigments will bring out the rivets and edges and suggest a dusty, work-worn look.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
