Responsibility details are not available.
The third sheet of the Frundsberg series brings historical markings of the tank units of the formation stated in the name as the 10 SS-Panzer Division. It is aimed at the two most widespread German types, that is at the PzKpfw IV in the Ausf H and Ausf J versions and at the Panther Ausf A and Ausf G.
The PzKpfw IV Ausf H was among the most numerous versions of the Panzer IV, had a 7.5cm gun with a barrel length of L/48 and as a rule wore side skirts against rifle fire. The following Ausf J simplified production further. The Panther, against it, was substantially heavier, with sloped armor and a longer barrel, and the Ausf A and Ausf G versions made up the main part of its series production in the years 1944 and 1945. The sheet thus covers both backbone tank armaments of one formation at once. For a modeler that means the chance to build a complete pair without having to hunt for another set.
Apply the markings after the base color has matured, because fresh paint softens and the membrane presses into it. Look the skirts and the side areas over against the light first to see whether they are rippled. Apply the final matte varnish over the whole model, so that the surroundings of an insignia do not have a different gloss from the rest of the surface. An even surface is a condition of a good overall impression in small scales.
