This set is a complete resin conversion accessory for models of the Grumman Hellcat carrier fighter in 1:72 scale. It makes it possible to build the night fighter version equipped with radar in a wing pod. The manufacturer is the Czech company AML.
The night fighter Hellcats carried radar in an aerodynamic pod on the leading edge of the right wing. They were operated from the decks of aircraft carriers in the Pacific to protect the formations at night and in poor visibility.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, cut the casting blocks off and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. Glue the radar pod with cyanoacrylate glue and mind its correct placement on the wing. Apply a primer before painting.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
