The Eduard photo-etched set for the Fw 200C Condor 1:72 is a photo-etched detail accessory for sharpening the interior of a plastic kit of this German long-range aircraft, not a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A photo-etched set of details in 1:72 scale from the Czech manufacturer Eduard of Obrnice near Most. It is not an airplane model but an accessory that sharpens the interior of a plastic kit of the four-engine Focke-Wulf Fw 200C Condor. The thin metal parts replace and complete the small items that cannot be faithfully produced in injected plastic, typically the instrument panel, the side panels of the cockpit, controls, seats and seat belts. The set is aimed at modelers who want to lift a basic kit to a higher level.
The Focke-Wulf Fw 200 Condor was a German four-engine all-metal aircraft, originally created as a long-range airliner. During the Second World War the Fw 200C version was used as a maritime reconnaissance and anti-shipping aircraft with great range, operating over the Atlantic against Allied convoys.
Carefully separate the photo-etched parts from the fret with a sharp knife on a hard surface, bend them on the edge of a blade or in a bender and join them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Color surfaces only need cleaning up, while matte metal parts should be primed before varnishing. Working with fine photo-etched parts calls for tweezers and patience and is better suited to advanced modelers.
This is an accessory, not an airplane model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
