An injection-molded plastic kit of a German armored railway car of the Second World War, in 1:72 scale from Hobby Boss. The car served as part of armored trains to move and deploy a light tank. The box also holds the parts of a section of track and the light tank that sits on the deck of the car.
The Panzerträgerwagen was an armored carrier railway car put into German armored trains. It could move a light tank on its deck and, when needed, put it into action, and the tank could even fire from the car. Armored trains were used to protect railway lines and for combat operations in the rear and at the front alike.
Prepare the car and the tank separately, as the tank can be painted on its own. We recommend a primer underneath, the base shade with an airbrush and a patina of washes and pigments to bring out the rivets, the running gear and the build-up of dirt. The section of track that comes with it is a rewarding foundation for a small diorama.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
