A detailed 3D-printed resin set from the Ukrainian brand Reskit, meant to improve a kit of the American F-105G Thunderchief attack aircraft in 1:48 scale. The set replaces the vertical stabilizer (the fin with the rudder) with a faithful part of the correct shape and with fine surface detail. It is not a model of an aircraft but an upgrade detail accessory.
The original plastic vertical stabilizer is replaced by an exactly shaped 3D-printed part with fine engraved lines and surface features that injection-molded plastic captures with difficulty. The result is a more faithful silhouette of the rear of the aircraft.
Separate the parts carefully from the print supports, wash the print resin residue off and bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Fill and sand the joint with the plastic fuselage where needed; protect your airways when sanding resin. Apply a base coat (primer) before painting. The set is meant for more experienced modelers.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue and paints are not included in the package. It is not a complete model of an aircraft but an accessory for another kit.
