German five-color lozenge camouflage 1:72, lower surfaces (Quinta Studio)

Semi-transparent decals in 1:72 scale reproduce the five-color lozenge pattern of the printed covering of German First World War aircraft in the version for the lower surfaces. The undersides carried a lighter combination of bluish, light green and beige fields, which differ from the upper scheme. The decals cover the whole flying surfaces and replace the difficult hand painting of fine diamonds.

• Prepare a smooth, glossy and light surface for clean colors.
• Apply it section by section with the correct continuity of the pattern.
• A softener improves adhesion into the engraved lines.
• Finish with rib tapes and a clear varnish.
