About product

Gloster Gladiator Mk.II instrument panel 1:72 (Yahu Models)

A pre-painted photo-etched instrument panel for the British fighter biplane Gloster Gladiator Mk.II in 1:72 scale from Yahu Models. It is not an aircraft kit but a finished color photo-etched part for a cockpit, which replaces the plastic instrument panel. The panel comes painted from the factory and fitted with legible dial faces, which you will appreciate especially in the small 1:72 scale.

What it is for and what its advantages are

  • It replaces the plastic instrument panel with a finished color photo-etched part
  • Sharply legible dial faces even in the small 1:72 scale
  • Thin photo-etched metal looks more convincing than a thick molded plastic part
  • Intended to be glued into a matching model of the Gladiator Mk.II in 1:72 scale

Who it is for

  • Builders of interwar and early-war biplanes
  • Modelers in 1:72 scale who want an authentic cockpit without laborious painting
  • Collectors of Royal Air Force aircraft in the small scale

This is an accessory (an instrument panel), not an aircraft model. Cyanoacrylate suits the installation. Paints and other parts are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.

FAQ

No. It is a separate pre-painted photo-etched instrument panel for the cockpit of a Gloster Gladiator Mk.II model in 1:72 scale.

No, the panel is printed in color from the factory including the dial faces. You only need to glue it carefully into the cockpit, ideally with cyanoacrylate.

Yes. In 1:72 scale painting small instruments by hand is at its most demanding, so a finished color panel makes a big difference with minimal effort.
