A set of cast resin underwing gun pods from Quickboost for a plastic model of the British Gloster Gladiator biplane fighter in 1:72 scale. The aftermarket accessory replaces the kit plastic parts with truer castings with finer detail on the aerodynamic fairings that carry the machine guns under the lower wings.
The Gloster Gladiator was a British single-seat biplane fighter of the late 1930s, the last biplane in RAF fighter service. Part of its armament consisted of machine guns housed in aerodynamic pods under the wings.
Wash the parts to remove the release agent, separate the casting blocks and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The detail of the pods will stand out after painting and a slight accentuation of the shapes.
This is an accessory, not an aircraft model. The kit itself and glue are not included in the package.
