Responsibility details are not available.
The Grumman A-6 Intruder was an American carrier-based attack aircraft intended for strikes in any weather and at night, when the machines of the time could not do without radar. The two-man crew sat side by side, the pilot on the left and the navigator on the right a little lower, which made working together over the terrain easier. The power was provided by two turbojet engines built in at the root of the wing, whose tips folded for stowage on an aircraft carrier. The A-6A form entered service in the first half of the 1960s.
This is a photo-etched set of metal parts for detailing a plastic model in 1:72 scale. The parts are held in the fret by thin tabs and are separated with a sharp blade. The extent of the set and the procedure of assembly is described in the manufacturer's instructions. The particular item is set apart by the manufacturer code 73818.
In 1:72 scale the photo-etched parts really are tiny, and all the more does calm and order on the bench pay off.
The set is for modelers who want to carry the details through even in a smaller scale to a thickness that is out of reach for injection-molded plastic. It is an accessory to a kit: the model itself, the paints, the glue and the tools are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
