A coat rack is exactly the kind of equipment most often missing from an interior diorama. An empty wall looks unfinished, but it is enough to stand a coat rack in the corner and the room immediately begins to look like an inhabited space. In 1:72 scale it is a small stand-alone object of a scene, not a kit and not a part to be fitted to another model.
It works best in interiors — in a hallway, a cloakroom, an office, the back area of a workshop or the living part of a scene. It also comes into its own in scenes with a derelict setting, where it stands overturned among rubble. Combined with a figure who is just taking off a coat, it turns into a small story.
Wash the part in lukewarm soapy water and let it dry, then clean up the residue from production carefully — with the thin parts proceed with feeling, so that they do not break. A wooden form is painted a warm brown with a thin coat of gloss varnish, a metal one, on the other hand, with a dark base and a dry brush in a steel shade. A dark wash will bring out the transitions and joints. Because the object is slim and tall, make sure it is glued firmly and squarely to the base; a single drop of cyanoacrylate glue holds better than a larger amount.
Paints, glue and a base are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
