An add-on cockpit set for a model of the Harrier GR.1 in 1:72 scale, intended for the Airfix kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Harrier GR.1 was the first production combat version of the British Harrier in Royal Air Force service. The aircraft could do without a takeoff run, because the engine thrust is deflected downward by four rotating nozzles, so it was able to operate from improvised sites. The pilot controlled not only the flight but also the position of the nozzles, so the cockpit has controls of its own that an ordinary attack aircraft does not.
It replaces the cockpit of the kit with one worked out in greater detail. In 1:72 the inside of the cockpit is usually simplified, and yet it is the place everyone looks at when they pick the model up. The set is intended for the Airfix kit in this scale. Which particular release of the kit is meant is not stated, so try the parts dry before gluing and compare them with your model. The cockpit is also finished first, so any adjustment shows up right at the start of the build.
This is an accessory for a kit. The aircraft model, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
