1:72 He 111 P-2

Eduard 1:72 He 111 P-2

Precisely shaped spray masks from the Czech manufacturer Eduard for models of the German Heinkel He 111 P-2 bomber in 1:72 scale. The masks are die-cut from yellow kabuki (washi) tape, which faithfully follows the extensive fully glazed nose of this aircraft and leaves no adhesive residue when taken off. It is neither a paint nor a kit but an aid that speeds masking up considerably on glazing as segmented as this.

Use

• The masks are peeled off the sheet and stuck precisely onto the individual frames of the glazed nose compartment.
• The inner areas of the glazing are covered over with tape or masking fluid, and then the color of the frames is sprayed.
• The set usually also contains masks for the wheel rims for a clean transition.
• Once the paint has dried the masks are carefully taken off, revealing crisp edges.

Who it is for

The set is ideal for He 111 modelers, because the typically glazed nose of the aircraft has a great many small frames that are slow to mask by hand.

The masks are neither a paint nor a model; the kit itself and the paints are not included in the package.
