Brengun 1:72 He-162A is a set of photo-etched parts for a plastic kit, not a model of an aircraft in its own right. It completes the airframe with features that cannot be made in injection-molded plastic at a realistic thickness.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is not a kit of an aircraft but an accessory set of photo-etched parts in 1:72 scale. Photo-etched parts come about by etching chemically out of thin sheet, so they have a thickness neither injection-molded plastic nor a resin casting will come near. The set is intended for one particular Special Hobby kit, so confirm which version of the kit you are building before buying.
The Heinkel He-162A was a single-engine jet fighter from the very end of the Second World War. Its distinguishing marks are the jet engine mounted on top of the spine of the fuselage, twin vertical tail surfaces at the ends of the horizontal tail and extensive use of wood in the structure of the airframe. The aircraft came about in an exceptionally short development time and the type saw minimal operational use. For a modeler it is an interesting subject if only because the airframe is very small, so a model in 1:72 scale comes out compact and every added detail is clearly visible on it.
Separate the parts with a sharp scalpel on a hard surface or with photo-etch shears, and never break them out. Make the bends in a photo-etch bender, or at least between two blades, so that the edges are sharp and straight. They are glued with cyanoacrylate, and on small and clear areas an adhesive intended for canopies works well. Degrease the metal before painting and spray it with primer, otherwise the paint peels off. Sand the remains left by cutting from the fret down with a fine file, so that no burrs stay on the edge.
The set is an accessory. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
