Eduard Brassin 1:72 HVAR rockets (8 pcs) is a resin detail set of unguided rockets with additional photo-etch and decals. It is not an airplane model but armament for kits.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin detail set from the Brassin range by the Czech manufacturer Eduard in 1:72 scale. It contains eight HVAR unguided aircraft rockets and completes them with small photo-etched parts and decals. It is underwing armament meant to be hung under the wings of a model, and the aircraft itself is not included.
The HVAR (High Velocity Aircraft Rocket), nicknamed Holy Moses, was an American unguided aircraft rocket of 127 mm caliber. In the air-to-ground role it was carried by a number of US Army Air Forces and Navy aircraft from roughly 1944 to the mid-1950s, among others during the Second World War and in Korea.
Wash the resin parts to remove the mold release agent and cut off the casting blocks with respiratory protection; they are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Bend the small photo-etched parts over an edge. The rockets usually carry an olive or metallic base, and the decals add the markings and stripes.
The set contains resin parts, photo-etch and decals. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
