1:72 JAS-39D Gripen wheel bays (MH models) is a resin set of the main and nose wheel bays for models of the two-seat Gripen. The set is intended for the Italeri or Bilek kits.

This is not an aircraft kit but a resin detail accessory. The set contains the main and nose wheel bays in 1:72 scale for models of the two-seat version of the Swedish fighter JAS-39D Gripen. The casting adds the internal structure, the ribbing and the plumbing that are simplified in empty plastic bays, and markedly raises the realism of the underside of the model. It is based on the dimensions of the Italeri or Bilek kits.
The JAS-39 Gripen is a single-engine multirole combat aircraft of Swedish manufacture with a delta wing and canards. The D version is the two-seater; it serves for training as well as for combat duties. Detailed wheel bays are among the most closely looked at places on a model, with the landing gear retracted as well as extended.
The accessory is supplied unpainted and without the base model, unless stated otherwise.
