Eduard 1:72 Ju 87B-2/R2 is a set of precisely cut painting masks for spraying the canopy glazing of a model of the German Junkers Ju 87 Stuka dive bomber.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of painting masks in 1:72 scale from the Czech maker Eduard. It is not a model of an aircraft but an accessory for painting the frames of the extensively glazed canopy of a Junkers Ju 87B-2/R-2 Stuka model cleanly. The masks are cut to fit the glazing, so the busy frames come out sharp and even without the slow cutting of masking tape. Sets of this type usually hold masks for the wheels as well.
The Junkers Ju 87, nicknamed the Stuka, was a German dive bomber of the Second World War with a characteristic inverted gull wing and fixed landing gear in aerodynamic fairings. The B-2 version was a more capable series variant, and the R version had an increased range thanks to auxiliary fuel tanks. The aircraft is one of the best-known machines of its era.
Lift the masks off the sheet, place them on the glazed areas and press them down. Lay the paint down with an airbrush in thin coats. The interior shade is usually sprayed first and the covering color of the frames afterwards. Once dry, lift the masks off and gently wipe away the adhesive residue.
This is a masking accessory, not a model. Paints, glue and the kit itself are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
