This resin set replaces the plastic exhaust stacks and the radiator cowling with more faithful castings with fine detail. It is not an aircraft kit but an accessory for Junkers Ju-87B-1 models in 1:72 scale. It improves the most noticeable part of the forward fuselage.
The Junkers Ju-87 Stuka was a German dive bomber with a pronounced cranked wing. The B-1 version used at the beginning of the Second World War was marked by the Jumo 211 inverted V12 engine with its characteristic radiator and the exhausts along the sides of the cowling.
Wash the resin parts free of mold release agent, cut the casting blocks off and clean them up with your airways protected. Glue them with cyanoacrylate. The exhaust mouths can be drilled out for a more faithful look; dark weathering and rust shades on the exhaust metal work well.
This is an accessory set, not a complete model. The basic kit and paints are not included in the package.
