This is a small accessory set, not an airplane model. It holds resin replacement barrels for the onboard cannon of models of the German Junkers Ju 88G-6/G-1 night fighter in 1:72 scale.
The cast barrels replace the plastic parts with a crisper, more slender rendering with a faithful muzzle. On Ju 88 night fighters the armament is among the conspicuous elements, so finer barrels refine a model noticeably and save the laborious drilling of plastic.
Separate the barrels carefully from the casting block and clean them up; glue with cyanoacrylate glue. Wash them free of mold release agent before gluing. A dark steel color and gentle graphite polishing give a metallic look, and the muzzle can be slightly darkened.
This is an accessory resin set, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
