A color 3D interior decal from Quinta Studio on decal paper. The instrument panel, the side panels, the seats and other cockpit elements are pre-printed in faithful colors and have fine raised relief, so painting and photo-etching of the interior are avoided. The set is intended for the Dream Model kit of the Ka-52 attack helicopter in 1:72 scale. This is the compact (smaller) version of the set.
The Ka-52 is a Russian two-seat attack helicopter with the characteristic coaxial arrangement of two contra-rotating rotors. The crew sit side by side and the aircraft is equipped for destroying ground and air targets.
The elements are applied as wet decals: the piece is dipped in water and slid into place. Degrease the surface beforehand, settle the elements onto a damp and smooth base and press them down with a soft brush. Do not use a decal softener or a fixer; they attack the printed resin and ruin the element. Once dry you can even the whole out with a thin coat of matte varnish.
This is a modeling accessory, not a stand-alone kit. The Dream Model kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
