Responsibility details are not available.
A set of die-cut masking templates for spraying the Japanese national insignia (hinomaru) and markings on a model of the floatplane fighter Kawanishi N1K1 Kyofu in 1:72 scale. Spraying through a mask replaces decals exactly where they fail most often: the paint settles into the engraving, it does not silver and the insignia can be worked seamlessly into the weathering.
The Kawanishi N1K1 Kyofu (Strong Wind), Rex by the Allied designation, was a floatplane fighter of the Imperial Japanese Navy, developed to support operations in areas without airfields. This capable machine with a central float became the basis of the land-based fighter N1K1-J Shiden, one of the best Japanese fighters of the end of the war. Models of seaplanes with the glossy surface of their floats positively invite clean sprayed markings.
Apply the insignia onto a cured, degreased surface. Place the template precisely according to the documentation for the machine you have chosen, press the edges down and spray light layers of a saturated red; on the dark green upper surface a light undercoat will secure the saturation. Once the mask is off you can unify the markings with varnish or a fine filter together with the rest of the camouflage.
A masking accessory - the kit, the paints and the decals are not included in the package.
