CMK 1:72 Ki-43-II/III Hayabusa cockpit set is a resin accessory with photo-etch that refines the pilot's station of the Japanese Ki-43 Hayabusa fighter in detail.
Responsibility details are not available.
A detail resin set in 1:72 scale from the Czech manufacturer CMK, supplemented with photo-etched parts. It is not an aircraft model but an accessory for the pilot's station of the Ki-43 Hayabusa fighter. It usually includes the floor, a control stick, a seat with belts and an instrument panel. Intended for plastic Ki-43-II/III models in this scale. The set is designed around the Ki-43 kit from Special Hobby.
The Nakajima Ki-43 Hayabusa, Allied reporting name Oscar, was the main fighter of the Imperial Japanese Army Air Force in the Second World War. It excelled in exceptional agility and low weight, although at the cost of lighter structure and weaker armament. The later II and III versions received a more powerful engine and further changes.
Wash the parts free of release agent, cut off the casting blocks and glue with cyanoacrylate glue; protect your airways when sanding. Paint and fit the cockpit before closing the fuselage; the photo-etched belts and the instruments come out well after a fine wash and a dry brush.
The accessory is supplied unpainted as a resin set with photo-etch. Paints, glue and the base kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
