Responsibility details are not available.
The Nakajima Ki-84 Hayate was a single-engine Japanese fighter with a radial engine, committed in the closing part of the Second World War; the Allies used the name Frank for it. It was among the highest-performing Japanese fighters of its day and it is popular with modelers thanks to its varied color schemes as well.
Masks for spraying the Japanese national insignia in 1:72 scale, and that in the rendition without a white outline. The insignia are therefore not applied as decals but sprayed directly onto the surface of the model, so they last exactly as long as the surrounding finish. How many insignia and in what sizes the set contains is given in the manufacturer's instructions.
A sprayed national insignia has no carrier film edge and none of the risk of silvering that goes with a decal. Apply the mask to a dry, degreased finish and only then spray.
The set suits a modeler who wants the national insignia sharp and in one plane with the surrounding finish, without the glossy edge left by a decal. This is an accessory to a model: the kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
