This resin set precisely casts the barrels of the defensive machine guns with oval perforated cooling jackets for an Avro Lancaster model in 1:72 scale. It is a detail accessory to a kit, not a stand-alone model. Fine perforations and thin barrels are hard to achieve in plastic at a small scale.
The Avro Lancaster was a British four-engine heavy bomber of the Second World War. For defense it carried machine guns in powered turrets, and their barrels had perforated cooling jackets. It is exactly these small but conspicuous elements that matter for the faithful look of a model, since the turrets are clearly visible.
Wash the parts free of mold release agent, cut them from the casting blocks and clean them up. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Protect your airways when sanding resin. Recommended for modelers with experience of resin accessories.
The detail accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
