LAU-10/A ZUNI is a resin set of rocket pods for aircraft models in 1:72 scale from the Czech maker Eduard. These are add-on external stores, not an airplane kit.

The set contains resin castings of LAU-10/A rocket pods, which in reality were carried under the wings of American carrier aircraft. The pod holds four unguided 127 mm rockets. It is not an airplane kit — these are add-on stores for a model in 1:72 scale that you already own.
Stores from the box tend to be simplified and often lack the fine detail of the lugs and of the pod face. The resin castings offer crisper fidelity of shape, cleanly cast muzzles and fine surface detail. A correctly chosen store also fixes the model's weapons configuration and its period, so it is worth choosing according to the particular aircraft you are building.
First wash the castings in lukewarm water with dish soap to remove the mold release agent. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw and sand the surfaces down; do not breathe in the resin dust, and sand wet rather than dry. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Before gluing them to the model, measure out the position of the lugs according to the instructions of the base kit and check the symmetry by eye from the front. Paint the pods separately from the aircraft and fit them only after the decals and the clear coat.
The add-on set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
