A washbowl with a jug in 1:72 scale. A small thing that gives a diorama a lived-in look without taking up space.
Responsibility details are not available.
A bowl for washing, in Czech a lavor, and the water jug that goes with it, both in 1:72 scale. Before water mains were installed, water was carried in the jug and washing was done in the bowl; the pair was therefore part of the equipment of every household. In a scene it suits anywhere everyday life is meant to show: a doorstep, a country house, makeshift quarters for soldiers or a field dressing station.
In 1:72 scale these are very small parts, so work with tweezers over a tray with a raised edge. Cut the excess material away with a sharp blade a little way from the part and sand the rest back only lightly, so as not to sand the rim of the bowl away. Wash and degrease the parts before painting, and use cyanoacrylate glue in a minimal amount, otherwise the small shapes will be flooded. Lay the paint down well thinned and in two coats, so that it does not cover the shape; a darker shade run into the inside of the bowl and the jug will add depth.
For the modeler who is building a diorama in 1:72 scale and is looking for small equipment of a kind not usually found in kits. Such objects give a scene scale and make it look lived in.
A model, figures, paints, glue and a base are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
