Learjet 35 in 1:72 scale from Sova Model is a plastic kit of the legendary business jet with its two Garrett engines and characteristic tip tanks.
Responsibility details are not available.
A plastic kit of one of the most famous business aircraft in history. Sova Model specializes in civil and less usual subjects in 1:72 scale, the kind usually missing from the large makers. The kit is produced by short-run technology, so count on more careful preparation of the parts.
The Learjet 35 first flew in the first half of the 1970s as a continuation of Bill Lear's successful range of light jet aircraft. It is powered by a pair of Garrett TFE731 turbofan engines mounted on the sides of the rear fuselage; its distinguishing marks are the tip fuel tanks on the wing. The aircraft found use as fast corporate transport, as an air ambulance and as a military courier and support machine - in the US Air Force it flew under the designation C-21A, and the type still serves with many operators around the world today.
With a civil jet a smooth surface is the basis: fill the fuselage joints, sand them down and apply white primer before painting. Spray the gloss white scheme in thin coats and mask the cabin windows carefully. The decals belong over a gloss surface; align the colored fuselage stripes along the longitudinal axis. A final gloss clear coat will underline the impression of a well-kept bizjet.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
