Letov S-16 in 1:72 scale is a plastic kit of the Czechoslovak biplane bomber in Luftwaffe and Slovak Air Force form, from Brengun.
Responsibility details are not available.
The injection-molded plastic kit with photo-etched parts captures the Czechoslovak Letov S-16 biplane bomber and reconnaissance aircraft. The package offers decals for a finish in the colors of the Luftwaffe and of the Slovak Air Force. It is a model of a biplane with the struts and bracing typical of interwar design.
The Letov S-16 was a Czechoslovak biplane bomber and reconnaissance aircraft designed in the 1920s at the Letov company. It was a rugged biplane of its day. Some of the machines survived to the end of the 1930s and a few appeared in the Second World War in the colors of the Luftwaffe and of the Slovak Air Force.
On a biplane, pay attention to the correct seating of the upper wing and the struts; a jig or a temporary support is worth using. Glue the plastic with a thin cement and the photo-etched parts with super glue. The bracing wires (rigging) are usually not included and can be added separately. Apply a primer before painting.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
