M4A3 (105) HVSS Sherman 1:72 is an injection-molded plastic kit of the howitzer version of the Sherman with HVSS running gear from UM.

This kit captures the American M4A3 Sherman medium tank in the version with a 105 mm howitzer and the HVSS chassis in 1:72 scale. It is an injection-molded plastic model from UM, usually with a small photo-etched fret and a decal sheet. Link-and-length track links and separate running gear parts tend to be part of the set.
The M4A3 (105) version carried a 105 mm howitzer instead of an anti-tank gun, for direct fire support of the infantry. The combination of the Ford GAA gasoline engine and the wider tracks of the HVSS suspension raised the mobility. These tanks complemented the gun-armed Shermans at the end of the Second World War.
Finish the running gear and the wider HVSS tracks first, then close the hull. Glue the plastic with liquid cement, treat the surface with a primer and spray with an airbrush. The shorter, thick-walled barrel of the howitzer is a striking identifying mark; you will tune the weathering with washes and dust pigments.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
