Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Japanese carrier fighter Mitsubishi A6M3 Zero Type 22 in 1:48 scale from the Czech maker Eduard. Eduard offers this kit in several editions (among them ProfiPACK and Weekend), which differ in the accessories (photo-etch, masks) and in the number of decal schemes. We recommend checking the particular edition and the contents of the box for this item against the manufacturer's part number.
The A6M Zero was the main fighter of the Imperial Japanese Navy Air Service in the Second World War, famous for its long range and excellent agility. The Type 22 version combined long rounded wings with folding tips and a more powerful engine, which improved both the range and the performance compared with the earlier machines. The Zero dominated in the early part of the war in the Pacific, but later it lost its lead against the newer Allied fighters.
Glue the parts with thin modeling cement for plastic. Paint and pick out the cockpit interior before the fuselage is closed up, and fit the sliding clear canopy with masks. Apply a gloss coat before the decals; complete the typical Japanese naval schemes with a fine wash of the panel lines and moderate wear. Check the interior and covering colors against the manufacturer's instructions so that they match the period finish.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
