M4A4 Sherman 1:72 is an injection-molded plastic kit of the Sherman version with a lengthened hull and a Chrysler engine from UM.

This kit represents the American M4A4 Sherman medium tank in 1:72 scale. It is an injection-molded plastic model from UM, usually complemented by a small photo-etched fret and a decal sheet. Link-and-length track links and separate running gear parts tend to be part of the set.
Compared with the other versions, the M4A4 had a lengthened hull, because it carried the Chrysler A57 multibank engine made up of several coupled engines. The longer chassis meant wider spacing of the road wheels. A large share of production was delivered to British and Allied units, and many vehicles were later rearmed with a more powerful gun.
Finish the longer running gear and the tracks on the VVSS suspension first, and close the hull only afterwards. Glue the plastic with liquid cement, treat the surface with a primer and spray with an airbrush. The longer hull is a typical identifying mark; you will create the weathering with washes in the recesses and dust pigments.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
