The American M72 LAW single-use antitank launcher in 1:72 scale is a weapon accessory for figures and dioramas, not a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set brings the American M72 LAW light antitank launcher in 1:72 scale. It is not a kit — it is a small weapon accessory to be put into a figure's hands, hung on its gear or placed around a scene, whether in the collapsed carrying form or in the extended firing position. In figure kits this type of weapon is usually only suggested, so a separate casting sharpens a scene at once.
The M72 LAW is a single-use antitank weapon of 66 mm caliber, which the American army introduced in the 1960s as a replacement for older portable launchers. The weapon consists of a pair of tubes that slide into each other: in the carrying form the whole thing is short and light, and before use the tubes are pulled apart, which flips the sights up. A soldier routinely carried it on his back or on a sling and needed no further crew for it. That is exactly why it appears in scenes both in the hands of a firer and as a load clipped to the gear or stacked on a vehicle.
Clean the casting of its casting block and level the faces with fine abrasive paper. Wash the part and lay down a base coat before painting. The body of the weapon only needs a matte olive shade, a dark wash to finish it and a dry brush to bring out the edges of the tube. If you are putting the launcher on a figure's shoulder, check the angle before the glue sets. Do the gluing with cyanoacrylate glue applied in a minimal amount, so that the small part does not drown in the excess.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
