A plastic kit, Mack AC 1:72 from RPM: a model of the American heavy truck of the First World War period.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Mack AC heavy truck in 1:72 scale from the Polish brand RPM. The model consists of sprues of light gray plastic and a decal sheet; it is an unassembled and unpainted set meant to be built and painted at home. The package matches the basic variant of this versatile vehicle.
The Mack AC was a heavy, robust truck built from 1916 by the American firm Mack. It was characterized by the suspended chain drive to the rear axle and by solid rubber tires. It served in large numbers during the First World War with American, British and French units as a general-purpose supply vehicle. For its toughness it earned the nickname Bulldog among British soldiers, which Mack then adopted as its company symbol.
Glue the parts with thin cement for plastic and treat the surface with a primer before painting. An airbrush suits an even coat; supplement matte military shades with a dry brush and light washes to bring out the rivets and the chassis details. The solid tires and the chain drive deserve careful weathering with mud and dust.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
