The basic (BASIC) set of precisely die-cut masks in kabuki tape for the plastic model of the American strategic bomber B-47E Stratojet in 1:72 scale. It is neither a kit nor paint, but an accessory that makes painting the transparent parts fundamentally easier. The masks are shaped to fit a particular mold, so they fit the cockpit glazing and the smaller windows exactly.
Lift the individual masks off the backing film with tweezers, lay them on the part and smooth the edges down carefully. Apply the paint with an airbrush or a brush and, once it is dry, remove the mask – you get crisp, straight frame edges with no overruns. Kabuki tape holds well, follows curves and leaves no adhesive once removed.
The package contains masks only. The model, paints and glue are not included.
